I don't know anything about this guy, but the video looks like a movie starring Zach Galifianakis in which he plays a pretentious douchebag singer. Hopefully "Father" is a cool dude, but since his music sounds solidly AAA I'm guessing pretentious douchebag.

He's an ok guy, former lead of Fleeting Foxes, but clearly a Millennial. Maybe his fans are Coachella types.
