Kalamazoo State Theater calling it quits

The K'zoo State Theater is a mid-level act landmark. This was a bit shocking and sad for audiences and musicians alike.

I just saw this (don't look at Buzzboard very often anymore). Lots of memories of the State Theater including Jon and Heidi's wedding on stage, and an unbearable concert by Bob Dylan. I hope they can keep it going.

That's how a lot of other historical theaters in this state have been saved (Michigan in Jackson, Michigan in Ann Arbor, Redford in Detroit, Senate in Detroit).
