Detroit TV stations drop the ball yet again on severe weather info

Well put. Just cracks me up because many of these TV stations run weather image promos touting early warning, etc. then they proceed to repeatedly get caught off guard.

Yeah it’s pretty goofy. I assume that weekends must be pretty thin in personnel as they really seem to struggle there more than any other time.

I guess a severe thunderstorm warning with "tornado possible" verbiage is unimportant?

Nothing on 2, nothing on 7, and a public access quality graphic on 4.

Edit: Fox 2 finally has info on screen. Warning was issued 10 minutes earlier.

Yea, what's up with those WDIV graphics and crawl?? They get a new unit from TEMU they had to test out?

I heard the wind, saw a flash of lightning, turned on all the local channels and saw nothing storm related. Then I tried Fox Weather on Comcast, and they weren't even broadcasting a weather program. Not sure what that was about.
