Jack Jones has often been labelled misogynistic for singing "Wives and Lovers", but Hal David and Burt Bacharach actually wrote the song.
I don't know if there was an answer song for men, but high on the list would be showering and shaving on a regular basis, not cursing and drinking all the time, and avoiding many other personal habits women find offensive.
