Where would the error be if I hit the quote button and write fully below the quoted area and outside the box?

It appears his browser (or plugin) is converting the time parameter in the quote block to a link with the “tel” prefix. That’s technically invalid HTMl, so I’m sure that’s why phpBB is choking on it. I didn’t actually test it out to prove my theory, just an educated guess.

There would be no error unless your browser manipulated the bbc tags in some bizarre way.
