What the heck does "on the grey" even mean?
I thought it was grave too.

I was listening to the Rod Stewart version of "Twistin' the Night Away".

When he sang "He's dancin' with the chick in slacks" I thought he was saying "He's dancin' with the chicken slats".

Dutch group Teach In "Ding A Dong" (1975 on Phillips Records) which reminds me of Leigh Nash or Sixpence None The Richer (of "Kiss Me" 1997 fame).
