Halley Vogel sighting!

Former WZZM-13 meteorologist Halley Vogel (now at Scripps owned WXYZ ABC 7 in Detroit) was spotted filling in on fellow Scripps station WXMI Fox 17 this Saturday morning. Did not recognize her with the glasses but the lower thirds bore her name and the voice did sound familiar. Likely a remote fill in as she didn't appear on set with anchor Andy Curtis.

Definitely an improvement over that doofus Michael Fish that they've been using out of Wisconsin.

I saw Holley on Sun with the tape weather forecast on Fox17, better seeing Holley than Micheal Fish and glad to see Reece is back.

Totally agree. Michael Fish is a joke. It's painfully obvious he isn't in studio even though they never say this (they did say Halley was at their sister station in Detroit) and Fish is usually not ready when they cut to him at least once each night he is on. Off camera doing something and then has to rush on camera. A few weeks ago was awful when severe weather happening down around Three Rivers and Kevin Craig had to come in and do coverage to bail Fish out.

17 made a mistake letting both Candace and Isabella go. WXMI management should have kept one of them to avoid this embarrassment that they now have in their weather department. (Halley Vaughn left for health reasons thus why I didn't include her in who the station should have kept)

From Reece's FB posts, it sounds like he took a family trip to Europe.

I agree should've kept Candace or Isabella at least one them as you said. I was surprised that Kevin didn't just do the weather when the severe weather happened a couple of weeks ago and it was Fish doing the weather segment which I didn't get at all.
