WJR should have given Tom Jordan a different job.

News Director, is one that comes to mind. I've never cared for the folksy, casual "news anal-yst" concept. Marie, in particular sounds borderline rip 'n read in that role.

The whole station needs a complete makeover. At the Flagg residence, we leave it on for the dogs when we're gone. That's how exciting it is. :smokin

If you have ever met Judy Coy, she is very down to earth. I went to high school with her husband. JP was just joking around.

I thought JP's focus on the vacation areas of Michigan helped promote tourism, Michigan's second largest industry.

I think chasing away local conservative talk show hosts and national talk shows is not good.

We used to leave WJR on when we went shopping. We had to change to Classical because they barked at the hosts on WJR, especially Mitch Albom.

Exactly! He should have been anchoring morning news on WJR as soon as his non compete with WWJ expired! A news-talk station without a local news department will not succeed. Has the analyst format worked anywhere else besides cable television?
