Yeah, I have to agree, they mentioned NOTHING about possible extreme weather in my part of the woods. In fact, I was under a tornado warning for a brief time, thankfully nothing came of it. About 3:45, my phone my phone blew up while I was at work, Tornado? WTH?

Kinda annoys me, you get these first alert days and then nothing, on the other you get this when everything is supposed to be fine.

The Toledo station weather divisions were predicting storms throughout Tuesday, From the way they were mentioning it, the storms would be typical non severe fall storms. Sirens started sounding about 4, even though the portion of Lucas County where I live was not affected, which leads to the belief that sirens should never be the first line of defense for warnings. Quite a few severe thunderstorm and tornado outbreaks have been predicted by the Storm Prediction Center and TV stations days in advance many times before, so this was a total bust by the SPC.

The Hazardous Weather Outlook from NWS Detroit included a tornado mention. With that it makes the SPC failure even worse. Especially once they had 5 tornado warnings going at once and already had several to the west of the area.
