Drew & Mike Podcast Complaint Thread

I decided to actually listen to a couple of Karl's podcasts. He's even worse on those than on Drew's show. It's incredible how much he has stolen/borrowed from Drew. For example, Drew said something about Woke Dad on Monday and then later in the week, Karl said almost the exact same thing. Word for word almost.

His constant reference to other loser podcasts and using abbreviations and acronyms. Wow. So cool. I guess he's successful at it. Then again, someone like Cardi B is successful but I can't stand her.

I'm not a bleeding heart liberal, but the level of racism and homophobia I heard in just listening to 2 shows was off the charts.

They need to drop Eli. I'm guessing that Dr. Yaldo pays them a lot. Eli has a lot of pausing during sentences, then doesn't finish some of them and just says, "aaah whatever." He also reads the paper that he prepared and doesn't add to their conversations, he wants to move onto the next topic that he has written down and get off Zoom quickly.

Eli is awful. From the blatant racism to overt sexism. He's a 70 year old man who comes in to complain about everything and talk baseball. A sport that people don't give a crap about especially when the local team sucks. I'm sure Yaldo pays a ton so they are obligated to have this nimrod on the air. Dump that moron and Karl, add Wetzel, and the show would improve immensely.

I have no issue with Eli, I enjoy his segments...
Dan Wetzel? Gee, I wonder how much Drew Lane would have to pay him to be a weekly contributor (more than the budget allows I'm sure)...

Eli doesn't bother me. Yes, he's cranky, but I tend to be as well so I relate.

I really think some of the stuff that Drew finds interesting is niche and doesn't translate well to audio. Cop cams...I'll never understand how the listener is supposed to fully understand what's going on.

The obsession with Karl is very weird.

I've seen others on here complain about Mark. I couldn't agree more. He's a know it all.

Drew is much worse when it comes to sexism. I stopped watching due to all of the stupid cam clips. Granted, the audio only podcast tends to be better, but the YT shows are brutal for sexism.

Cop cams...I'll never understand how the listener is supposed to fully understand what's going on.

4 out of 5 of their cop cams are women. None of those guys were great with the ladies, even though they wound up with pretty wives, so I think that there's something there with them enjoying women being arrested.

Last night's show featured Drew talking about Karl and all of the obscure loser podcasters that are in that world. Why is a 60+ year old guy obsessed with this? I don't know who is a bigger loser, Karl or Drew. At least Drew has original thoughts and talent and a career to show for it. Karl literally repeats things Drew says.

I'm sure Drew has a piece of WATP.

The show is slowly becoming unlistenable. Up until a couple years ago, I would rarely FF through any segments. Now I find myself regularly skipping large portions because they are flat out not entertaining. Eli, Karl, cop cams, are all awful and just waste time imo. There's no reason why they have to force a 2.5 - 3 hr podcast 4-5 days a week. Cut the show in half and focus on the quality content.

I like Eli, I don't mind cop cams. I've said it a few times before but I have no use for Karl or worse yet Stuttering John. Why would anyone care what Stuttering John has going on in his life and why people try to make money by making fun of him. I do not understand what they call the Dabbleverse, and I just don't care.
