Hey, some of us like to talk about happenings in other areas of the country, too. Here's the place to do it.

Set preset button 1 to 94.7fm... Everyone's making the switch to 94.7...

Face it, rock radio is dying. There's no really good stuff being played, and the library formats are stuck in 1977. The format choices are dire and nobody wants to grow anything organically. At least this way overhead costs are low.

It's beyond stale for sure, some of the stuff is nearly or is irrelevant now. At least to me.

In Boston, the iHeart classic rock station wins (WZLX) and the Beasley classic rocker is the bottom feeder. It's like the reverse of the Detroit situation.
I wonder if Beasley will eventually do this in Detroit. If it's going to be on a full-market signal, it'll be 105.9, especially if Kiss continues to tread water.
