The station that has made the jump from unlistenable to enjoyable has been 96.3. They are really doing it right over there.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.

As such, rating will always be much smaller than share.

Cume for 1270 in the most recent survey was an abysmal 9,500.
I bet French CBC has more listeners lol.

What is the bigger factor used by management, Cume or Share?

Also, what does "potential listener" even mean?

"WLLZ's audience skews old, too, judging from the phoners. Most guys who call in sound like a heavy smoker over the age of 55."

I wouldnt put much stock in this. Its just the calls they put on the air. Most stations air the calls from the audience they think they want., not the actual audience.

I kinda like the addition of more throwbacks from the Rick Gillette era of WHYT. It gives a standard milquetoast Hot AC more of a Detroit vibe.
Frankly WNIC is the station I find unlistenable when they segue from "ABCDEFU" to "Imagine." Obviously their target audience loves it, though.

Do you mean John Lennon's Imagine? That would be a jump. I have always had an aversion to WNIC because I swear it would be on in every dentist office I would visit as a child.

Their dentist office days ended in 2010. They have been playing teen pop since then.

Also, does the target audience actually like it or is it there are just no other options to play over the loudspeakers at businesses?
The programming is a mess and apparently Jay Towers is behind it. It honestly sounds like he just put in random songs in the playlist and hit shuffle. No thought whatsoever is put into it

Good. I will give them a try maybe. But if they play Rick Astley, Bob Seger, or Bryan Adams, I am turning the station. :barf
