Tiger Baseball on TV
Re: Tiger Baseball on TV
I work in a restaurant/bar that has DirectTV, so by extension, we are still able to offer BSD/Tigers baseball on our humble, single TV. Kinda crazy how many people are surprised when they come in and see Tigers baseball on TV. Many people talk of how the Tigers have just “disappeared” from their TV, and why did WE have it on our TV, etc. I feel so many people have just chalked this up to a “lost season”, that irregardless of the Tigers middling record and consistency, people have just gone on with their summer not really knowing what’s going on with their baseball team. Kinda sad how that team used to be, on radio and/or TV, the soundtrack to people’s summer.

It is fitting that tonight’s Tigers/Orioles game is an Apple TV exclusive…after the bulk of the season was not available to Xfinity subscribers, now another big game and big series opener comes up and it’s on a streaming service.

Yep. I wonder if Tigers management sees the love the Lions are getting and are getting a bit jealous? Maybe we'll see some real action from ownership.billmich88888 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2024 4:29 pm do you only want to watch the other 3 pro teams if they make the playoffs?
