I tried but gave up trying to make sense of the document. Ownership is changing. Are formats changing, and if so to what?

It's not confirmed, but I would bet at least one of the Hamilton stations goes ethnic. Wouldn't surprise me if CKWW picks up some ethnic shows too.

If Ray is allowed to, I can see CINA's license being amended to go 100% Arabic, with the other languages (which are required to air) bring shifted to CKWW.

It's interesting to note that the approval states the two Hamilton stations are in the Hamilton market and must serve it, while CKWW serves the markets in its contour. That would mean not only Windsor, but Chatham, Sarnia, possibly London, and... Metro Detroit.

I think at least one of the two Hamilton stations will devote some of its airtime to Arabic Language programming. There is also a possibility of 1150 CKOC being Oldies again.

On the Toronto / Southern Ontario board they are reporting white noise on both 820 and 1150 from Hamilton. Does this mean that the studio to transmitter links are now turned off?

It was from gta.boardhost.com under where it says sowny.

Both 820 and 1150 have since returned to regular programming
