One of my pet peeves is having my social media feeds flooded with crappy fireworks videos after major holidays... Literally NO ONE wants to watch them!

Dropping knowledge on forum MAGAts (where DID they all go??).
Unapologetically intellectually superior.

WJR was famous for fireworks on the radio for many years. Why anyone would sponsor that is a mystery to me.

I can listen to the fireworks on the radio any time by listening to one of my tube radios with silver mica disease.

I finally got smart this year and turned off the sound, so that I wouldn't hear the annoying music. I couldn't hear the explosions, of course, but the light show was still fun.

about 10 years ago, Channel 4 bumped a cup clinching game over to WADL (2013, i believe) - NHL season went longer because of a lockout

They most certainly would have. The fireworks and the parade are when C-level WDIV execs and upper sales drones get to schmooze and feel self-important. They kiss the asses of everyone at the Parade Company and pretend like they're doing the world a favor by showing advertising.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2024 12:29 pm Thank God that game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final aired on WXYZ and not on NBC!
Loco 4 probably would've preempted it!!
It is a sickening sight.
