I listened to most of the show live today. Lance is always a good guest, it seems like he knows what’s coming with an hour w/Scoop. Did laugh when Scoop was referencing the Weaver Bros., Jeff & Jared, and referred to one as “the one who was on cocaine”!!!???

Ron thinks everybody in Detroit is an alcoholic.

One of my favorite Ron moments is when he was talking about hanging out in the centerfield bleachers at Tiger Stadium with "every drunk in Detroit."

My God, I finally learned how to post another person's quote, must be the payback for fluffing on listening to Ron in real time! "This" is the best way to take the show in, regardless.

I remember Steve Howe blaming his alcoholic episodes on the assertion that "everyone in Michigan drinks too much." I don't mean to disparage a damaged soul, but Bob Welch became a heralded figure for being honest about his addiction or affliction.

It looks OK here—strange.

Interesting coincidence how both players had the same names as guitarists of British rock bands of the 1970s.

So it was confirmed that Lance and Scott finally met?

No mention of an actual meeting ... or any other direct contact.

If they ever meet, it will take its place among the great meetings of history.

Or he may have been stewing about Tyrese Halliburton saying he felt like a "prom king" due to his starting role with the Eastern Conference team. I betcha a case of Goebel that Ron was never in a tux with someone at the mic in high school, announcing that he was due that kind of adulation.

One of the bummers of Ron not having a second show on the weekend is the lack of play by play he provides during games

NBA all star game play by play would have been one to listen to. Who can forget his superbowl shows from years past
