I read that former tiger, Tony Peña has been added to the tiger broadcasts this season, so many questions for Ron

Is he a good man?
Is he a Homer?
Has he ever been on Rons show
Has he ever had lunch or does he owe Ron lunch?

As spring training comes closer, no caravan or bus sightings as of yet

I saw an article in the Athletic the other day written by Keith Law. He had the Tigers minor league system rated as the 6th best in all of baseball. Much credit goes to Scott Harris for bringing the minor league system back into the top 10.

Any degree of success the Tigers enjoy in the immediate future will be attributable to that good to great man, Al Avila, who, not coincidentally, was Ron’s onetime guest. Making it a real tragedy that he seems to have fallen on such hard times.

For baseball news, I think Ron only reads Bob Nightengale of the USA Today Sports Weekly (if he can find a copy, and if he reads it before the motel maid throws it out).
