I saw Donovan Edwards was signing autographs today at Laurel Park Place Mall. If only Ron's once envisioned Pizza carryout was open in the food court, he could have cleaned up with the throngs of Michigan fans on hand.

Another one of the impresario Ron’s pipe dreams.

Ron was asked about this on his first show back. Without giving it any thought, he blurted out that he would pay a 25% commission to anyone who could get him an advertiser. What that means - especially with a restaurant sponsor - was not explained.

In spite of the cold weather and his recent knee surgery, Ron Cameron was still able to make it to yesterday's victory parade for the University of Michigan football team.

Unlike Jim Harbaugh, this probably explains Ron's fondness for Monte Clark: https://www.ebay.com/itm/394849909730?h ... SwosZk8O18

I notice Monte has a pack of smokes at the ready, Ron probably should have reminded him “you smoke, you croak”…

Be sure to tune in this Friday for a very special All-Star birthday salute to Ron.

With a guest list still growing, scheduled call-ins from across the sporting world include, from the world of football, Jim Harbaugh, Wayne Fontes, Bill Keenist and Ndamukong Suh. From the Tigers, Kirk Gibson, Jack Morris, Prince Fielder, Miguel Cabrera, Brian Colangelo and Scott Harris. From the Pistons, Isiah Thomas, Larry Brown, Blake Griffin and Cade Cunningham. Old friends Bob Page and Lane Staal will also be calling. Representing all the hardworking men and women of America, the United States Secretary of Labor, the Hon. Julie Su, is also expected to call with birthday salutations. From beyond the grave, telegrams will be read from Bea Arthur, and, on behalf of Ron’s current and past housekeepers, Shirley Booth ( TV’s “Hazel”). And as in-studio guests, Mr. and Mrs. George Eichorn are sure to surprise Ron with their most heartfelt personal greetings.

All and more eager to make this a birthday to remember for Ron.

Sponsored, with limited commercial interruption, by Old Gold cigarettes (“If you smoke, you’re a regular bloke”).

Immediately after the show, a Jim Harbaugh-hosted luncheon will be held for Ron and nine of his guests at Denny’s, near the airport.

For MLK Day today, Ron will be hosting a symposium in the big corner booth at the Southfield Ram's Horn:

A re-united version of the Ron-ettes will be serenading Ron with the "Happy Birthday" song.

Not sure what’s more exciting, the holiday extravaganza shows or a birthday show! Should be a good one

I'll let Al know the gang is coming down to Denny's so he can prepare a special batch of maize and blue cheese dip, and special Wolverine wraps.

With Ron living like a gypsy, in one motel after another, I wonder, did he have to jettison all of the sports memorabilia he accumulated over the years, or does he have it in a storage unit somewhere?

Imagine, having to live in some roadside flea circus motel at Ron's age...and being a man of his stature. No thanks.
