Yes, the song, despite its less than stellar pedigree, was "pure pop perfection." I also loved Flo & Eddie, the Turtles' breakaway group.

Loved how Flo & Eddie would show up at ABX studio to chat with Air Aces whenever they were in town. Funny guys.

The itinerant Ron may already have moved to his next library, but if I should see him again my plan is not only to give him the baseball trivia questions but - in quite the sacrifice - my very own June 2023 (already largely obsolete?) Yellow Pages. Then let him lament being a one-man operation!
