Yeah the Pistons are garbage, tom gores needs to sell the team and let them move to Seattle.... but John Kane doing play by play doesn't help a 27 game losing streak.

In perusing the Nielsen market rankings of metro populations, I see that Phoenix has passed Detroit by roughly 16,000 to move into thirteenth place. #14 Minneapolis is nearly 800,000 behind Detroit, so we should remain there for a good while. Detroit's peak was #4 back in 1930, and was #5 from 1940 through 1990.
