I’m pretty familiar with Pleasant Ridge. I’m guessing they no longer have a contract with Ferndale to lodge people in their jail. Berkley does do the police dispatch services for Pleasant Ridge and Huntington Woods so they probably just rolled it into the same contract

The quoted news article needs some polishing for content and wording. Maybe Charlie was writing and reviewing the stories for content so that they would at least try to be readable but obviously not that one.

He still has his podcast on the Red Shovel Network. Don't most people in the public eye get fired from their job after a domestic violence arrest? The other show on that network often degrades women, it seems daily, so they probably don't care.
