Dragnet Predicted The Future...
Dragnet Predicted The Future...
New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Webb said "LSD The BOMB"!! In the classic early 1967 episode "The LSD Story".

Amazingly accurate prediction.
Ask not what your country can do FOR you; ask what they are about to do TO YOU!!

The good news is that the guy advocating for pot turned his life around and became a firefighter for Station 51 in Los Angeles. Chet Kelly is his name.
Re: Dragnet Predicted The Future...
In March of 1969, "Dragnet" showed the Caped Crusader episode played by the late Tim Donnelly (later Chet Kelly of "Emergency!" January 1972 till May 1977). His last appearance was on "The "A" Team" in late 1984 & then Tim quit acting. Dan Ackroyd said that "The LSD Story" & "Caped Crusader" were the best "Dragnet" episodes when MTV showed that during the "Dragnet" comedy movie party with Tom Hanks!! The late Harry Morgan was also there!!

I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Interesting episode. At the end, his baby drowns while he and his wife are having a pot party. I'll never forget the image of Donnelly cringing in the doorway and the mother's eye shadow dripping with tears.
Lots of episodes in the 67-70 Dragnet series that dealt with the rising interest in recreational drugs among young people. Good snapshot of the debate at that time.
I know the attitudes of Friday and Gannon are ridiculed by some, but I'm sure they helped a lot of people too.

They're both the problem. Cocaine is where it's at.
