Personally I'd be surprised 104.3 would be considering this if half the stories of how difficult he is to work with are true.

I know Audacy and CEO David Field hate having live and local radio on their music stations. I wonder if the morning show replacement is just a voicetracked DJ from out of market or something syndicated?

Does Cheap Channel have the willingness to finally bring in a live and local morning show and hire JJ as their new morning show host on WLLZ? They've never invested in a live morning show at 106.7 going all the way back to The D when it was Alan Cox. Even now with Spencer Graves and whoever it was before him, they were voicetracked. I say hire JJ and and pair him with Trudy Daniels and then either bump Anne Carlini to middays or bring in Juline Jordan to fill the midday shift.

But I think Mr. Johnson has decided to retire.

If he still wanted to work in radio, I'm thinking he would of just stayed put.
Not pull up stakes at 'OMC and then turn around and get behind a microphone elsewhere.
