They want you to think that it's 'entertainment' and informative but it's really just a ginormous, hour-long 'advertisement'!

eight West, the locally produced weekday infomercial is often on in local dentists offices and some doctors offices.

Bland, never any controversy, smiling faces and inexpensive to produce. A cash cow for Nexstar media.

Just like Fox17's Morning Mix is pay to play copied 8 West, WZZM canceled their pay to play show even know they said it would return once COVID was under control never did. And put Access Daily in its place along with 2 more EPs of Judge Judy making it 4 EPs in a day.

Catherine Behrendt hosts the infomercial show on WZZM13 after the noon news. I dont think it even has a name.

I see the TV Guide on my TV paid programming at 12:30PM.

I was under the impression that "My West Michigan" never returned from Covid hiatus. I do see it still exists on the station's website but as two or three roughly five minute videos posted per week. The few I checked all begin with "The following video contains paid content" type disclaimer.

At some point WZZM cut their noon news back to 30 minutes after briefly expanding to one hour.
