Their website is down.

If a format change, what realistically could it be other than religious? Maybe ESPN radio?

In all seriousness, I'm guessing a flip to Sports.

They've been using ESPN Radio in overnights and some weekend time slots for a while.

My longshot guess would be an Ethnic format, similar to 102.3 Windsor.

My ultra longshot guess is Oldies.
Colonel Flagg would enjoy hearing black oldies... Classic Soul. Or, as Jim Harper would say, Motown Gold. Birmingham, Alabama has TWO classic soul stations. It's shameful that Detroit can't even support ONE. WMTG was a good idea when Harper put it together many years ago, but I don't think it was given much of a chance. The stations in Birmingham, AL (WATV, and WJLD) are very active in the community and have loaded commercial breaks.

Check, check, and double check. Harper was PD at the time, but the project really was not his other than some execution. Specs graduates running the board, with the resultant near nothing in terms of 'history of the music' chatter, limited advertising, almost no special events or celebrity drop ins, etc. I used to shake my head when I'd walk by the little broom closet of a studio with airstaff busy researching real jobs elsewhere, thinking about what it could have been.

Pretty much held the license for them...which, with the foolishness of 'Radio Ahhs' and other silly programming attempts, eventually took it to the shutdown, knockdown of the towers, and the essential giveaway of the license.
The box that many broadcasters won’t look outside of was made in 1969 and hasn’t changed significantly since.

ESPN radio is on as I type this. I don't know if that's normal for this timeslot.

Still calling it 910 Superstation, and even heard an ad still calling it Urban talk. ESPN still airing.

All national spots via ESPN except promo ads for 38 and the Word, along with an advertising deal- 100 spots for $600!

I'd LOVE a motown and classic soul station, focused on 60s-80s. It's a shame that Detroit doesn't have such a station.

I'll jump in on that oldies train, too. With a musical heritage as rich as Detroit's, it's a shame all that gets shelved for another spin of Queen everywhere.

I vaguely remember WMTG on 1310. Listened a few times and don't remember any spots or anything else but music. No promotion. Of course this is going off of 30+ year old memory.

Still nothing but ESPN on 910. That's looking like the format. Only reason I thought religious was because they own the Word Network.

If the hosts want to continue on terrestrial radio, it's looking like one of Sima's stations or 1440 are their only options.

Question to MW
With Kevin Adell selling 38 to Mission to be the new CW38, and what's going on with 910am superstation, could we be seeing a POSSIBLE selling of 910 Super station thus signaling (with exception of Adells " the word " network ) the end of Adell broadcasting as we know it, and SHOULD 910am be put up for grabs, whom do you see frothing at the mouth to get it
