Lifestyle report isn't hard news and needs to be more colloquial in style.

Languages evolve over time... just like everything else.

While that is true, I am afraid it is more DEvolving over the past 10 to 12 years. The dumbing down of America. Evolving alludes to improvement; that's not what's happening.

I notice too when reading and article online it's just a brief summary.... Any local news outlet.

Change is inevitable. Whether it's (d)evolving is a matter of perspective and opinion.

Agreed. The phrase "internet journalism" is essentially just an oxymoron these days.
