He didn’t, but both did their preparatory work at the prestigious Tilton school in New Hampshire.

Martin, the problem wasn’t just with the live-streaming. It was a terrestrial issue, too.

Now it's time for lunch, while Ron goes to work, and Martin celebrates that he fixed the audio problems.

When I saw the repeating issues, I first thought it was a joke of Ron talking about the same topics week after week!

It’s too bad our efforts to lure Kurt over to the dark side have been unsuccessful. I really would like to know how it is that live programming resumed in the middle of one of his calls. How is it that he called & talked to Ron when everyone else was in an endless loop about the NBA Summer League?

You truly didn’t miss anything: As far as most of us could tell, fifteen or so minutes in, the show entered a constant loop/repeat then went silent except for a buzzing sound…earbuds wouldn’t help no matter what!

So Ron was meeting with management after the show?? Here's how that went:

Mgmt: Ron, since you were on the air most of the time, you still have to pay for those two hours.

Ron: What the hell do you think you're doing numnuts??? The show didn't air for about 15 minutes because of "technical difficulties". There are to be no...and I repeat no technical difficulties when I'm on....because I'M THE SPORTS TALK RADIO LEGEND. If it wasn't for me, this pea shooter station would be dark.

Mgmt: Ron, we made more money when we aired oldies Friday and Sunday 11-1. That was before you stormed in here and held us up, demanding everything on earth. The only reason we put you on the station was four loyal listeners called and asked us to put you on.

Ron: THAT'S BECAUSE I'M THE ELVIS OF SPORTS TALK RADIO. AND I WANT WATER TOO!!! AND WHAT ABOUT MAKING LONG DISTANCE CALLS???

Mgmt: Only employees of the station can make those calls. You are not an employee!!

Ron: LIKE HELL!!!! I AM THE...I REPEAT THE SPORTS TALK RADIO LEGEND. I AM THE ONE MAN OPERATION LEGEND!!! JUST ASK MY THREE CALLERS!!!! HELL, YOU AIR OLDIES??? I'M BIGGER THAN THE BEATLES AND GOD PUT TOGETHER. I'M THE ELVIS OF SPORTS TALK RADIO.
(Ron then storms out of the station, gets in his 1962 Pontiac, and peels out of the parking lot. On the way, he blows out two tires because...the tires are from 1962 also.

Yesterday, in the heart of summer, & for the second time in as many weeks, Ron made a "promise" that he would have his long talked-about knee replacement surgery "this summer." I know Ron in the past has had trouble placing Memorial Day in the calendar year, but does he also have issues placing the seasons?! Yes, you can take that "promise" to the bank, just as much as his supreme confidence that the 1973 TTTT color episode (with retired baseball player Joe Garagiola as a panelist) he just watched was from 1957! As clueless a game show-related observation as when he said that JFK - already dead, then, for almost two years - had WML panelist, syndicated entertainment columnist & Sinatra-dubbed "chinless wonder" Dorothy Kilgallen - whom Ron identified as "a beautiful actress" - killed in November 1965.

Momo - great points as usual; I still can't believe Ron was arguing with me about To Tell The Truth; like you say a color episode from 1957???; with a 17 year old Chuck Norris on it??? Ron hates to be corrected at times, I laid out all the facts and he still was contesting everything - the man still can't even master what days his show even hits the airwaves, sometimes I wonder why I bother at all...........but he is a squash expert now!........Cheers.

Ron was so sure that he saw “1957” on the screen of that TTTT episode which makes me wonder if that could have been a box office number for home studio tickets. If such a reference, that is, would not be edited out by BuzzR TV. More likely, there was no reference to 1957 on the screen.

I guess when you’re paying $200 an hour you don’t have to take no for an answer.

What are the odds that he shows up at the station today at 11:03 to do his show.

Ron was ripping Chris McCosky of the Detroit News for his evaluation of Miguel Cabrera. Wonder what Ron thought of this evaluation of Jake Rogers? In spite of all the comments that support what Ron has said, Ron's probably upset by the one bit of praise (pitch framing) that makes umpires look bad.
CATCHERS Jake Rogers: He has all but taken over as the primary catcher. Despite a low batting average (.201), he’s hit 11 homers and has an OPS-plus of 107. More importantly, he’s been solid to very good behind the plate. He ranks in the top-16 percentile in framing and he’s a plus-one in blocks above average. His game-calling, still a work in progress, continues to improve steadily. He’s also an unsung and invaluable presence in the clubhouse, keeping things loose and upbeat, even in the dark times. Grade: C-plus
