Gadsby was a frequent guest. He even use to appear on the Friday WPON show.
Approximately when would that have been? In all the years I’ve been listening - at least starting in the ‘10s - the only Friday guest he had was - once - Lincoln Cavalieri.
The various incarnations of Cameron's show on WPON go back well before then and probably to 2004. He didn't have as many guests on the Friday show back at that time compared to a Saturday or Sunday but he would schedule one every other week or so. Gadsby was far from the only one. Cameron had Bruce Fields on a Friday show as a guest and broke the Bo Schembechler death story.

Missed today’s show, sounds like it was a weird one, would love to have this expounded upon.

Rich shared that after a Red wing game his wife saw a bunch of girls sing to Sergi federov which in turn that night lead to the conception of there daughter according to Rich which his wife had relayed to him. Not sure the linkage to Frederov, but he felt like sharing that story

Putting Scoop and Kincaid together in the studio makes for some bizarre radio, it sounds like.

I would have thought that WXYZ TV would have broke the Schembechler death story since he died at the station. Now I better understand why Ron is Scoop.

Maybe Martin arranged that.

At the time Ron had a source who was very connected within the U of M Athletic department that provided him the leak.

Being recent brothers in “flippant” behavior, maybe it was a young Shemmy Schembechler?

It definitely sounds like a private conversation that is being broadcast. Rich said several things that most people would only say in private, for example, liking "the other kind of grass" and talking about the number of times he had sex with his wife.

And who doesn't know all about Rich's hockey book? The fact that they keep talking about it shows a lack of effort and imagination.

One of Ron's favorite sayings appeared today in one of my favorite cartoons (Mutts).

Ron could not have scripted a better final two teams for the NBA championship. In the Nuggets, we have a team whom Ron has said have long been his all-important pick to win it all. If they succeed, Ron can tout his superior knowledge of the game. With the Heat, Ron can showcase his insider status by continually repeating his likely apocryphal Erik Spoelstra “encounter.”
