Black bear's in TC are not all that uncommon, I seen 2 myself,one while jogging the wooded trails behind Aldi's and another crossing the highway in front of me near 4 mile road.

And people say nothing exciting ever happens up north...

A bit off topic,but a short while ago. in about the same place I seen a Black Bear crossing the highway,I saw a mama duck crossing with her ducklings.Cars were stopping to let them by.How so very cute.

There is one specific spot of road where the ducks cross in Saginaw. A couple years ago they put up "Duck Crossing" signs.
