Bondy didn’t say where he is going. I guess we’ll need to wait until tomorrow when he’ll announce that he’ll join a conservative think tank doing social media and PR here in mid-Michigan. (Don’t tell anybody…)

Dave doesn’t have any interest in politics. In fact, He’s tired of Sinclair corporate politics.

Bondy can make just as much money out of TV, with a better schedule and can spend more time with his family and trying to grow his social media following.

The one part I don’t quite believe is that he is “retiring” from TV. I think he’ll be back sometime down the road. But as HR Director/Grilled Cheese Party Planner reminded everyone who’s been breaking their contracts… it won’t be back with Sinclair. Mark that as a win for Dave!

Oh I don’t think management at 25-66 is laughing. Quite the opposite actually. They are just now coming to the reality that their jobs are likely next to go.

You don’t lay off a $30k MMJ/photographer/producer and keep a manager who is making six-figures.

If you only have a handful of local employees, do you really need a local HR manager… or business manager… or promotion manager… or even Director of Sales? Or can those positions also be hubbed out from Kalamazoo?

These so-called local managers have no one else but themselves to blame for working (or is it not working?) themselves right out of a job. As they say, it’s not personal… it’s just business.

When he tweeted Mackinac Center stuff three times before coffee break this morning, it wasn't hard to figure out his next stop.

Sinclair doesn’t need a cease and desist letter, all they would need to do is block Bondy ‘s content (think blacklisting for Facebook).

Seems like a great career move!

I agree.

Anyone paying attention knew what side he was on before. Contrary to what Mr Unbiased said.

Dave says he’ll give his former viewers “all the details” about his new job if they sign up for his newsletter. I don’t think he’ll be breaking the internet anytime soon.

Bondy is now just another PR flack now shilling for the Mackinaw Center and it’s extreme right wing policies. Sorry, but now I’m gonna “keep it real…”

“Is now”…? He may as well have been for awhile. He’s been favoring the one side for a long time now.

He never missed an opportunity to post anything remotely negative about vaccines or masks, or books in schools to all of his loyal patriots.

Bondy actually posted arguments for both sides… believing that made him fair and balanced by elevating the most divisive voices from both sides.

Real journalism is about posting facts, not rhetoric.
