Just stumbled across this. It’s really odd. This is not a playoff game.
Is this:
-a previously scheduled match to be shown on TV20?
-a result of the Sinclair/Diamond/Bally mess?
-a shape of things to come?
FWIW: Tonight’s Wings game is relegated to Bally’s alternate channel as well as WWJ.
Personally, I’m all for any Detroit sports team being on a broadcast facility. Having soccer live from Hamtramck on TV20 is awesome.

It's the old "April in the D" problem of having the three pro teams they have rights for playing simultaneously. It doesn't happen often, but when the channel was Fox Sports Detroit they too had to put 1 of the 3 games (Tigers-Wings-Pistons) on a broadcast channel whenever it happened.

This still doesn't help people who have canceled cable and have gone with a streaming service. There are currently no streaming services that have WMYD.

I was surprised that CW7 didn't air the Pistons game and could've aired The CW primetime late at night JTV at 2:30AM or 3AM. Nexstar isn't as tough like CBS & The WB were. The Pistons game on Tue wasn't aired in West Michigan only channel that would've taken it would've been WXSP which aired the Pistons from 99 to 08.
