Spike out at 955
Spike from Mojo in the morning was let go on Friday. Mojo talked about it today on the show.

Bye, Felicia.

What happened to Sara? She was at Mojo in the morning from the start. I used to watch her on that startup media website, but not sure if that's still around.

I remember Spike and Sarah on WXDG 105.1 “The Edge.” Was Spike on Buzz 95 WVIC in East Lansing too? Sorry to see him go. Just another reminder about how bleak the future of FM radio is.

I really never listened to "Mojo In The Morning", I still miss "Drew & Mike", I only listen to 97.1, and Paul W , when he's there....
This reminds me of Detroit Radio, the FM side back in the 70's/80's, where a DJ was around everyday then they were not....
And the radio station and DJ's all acted like..."whaaa, who, huh, never heard of that person".....

WLLZ or Alt 98.7 should hire Spike and find a good female partner to pair him with for their mornings. I don't know if Sara still does radio? Trudi Daniels would be a good choice for Wheelz.

Shame, I like him and he did me a solid early on in the pandemic. This is shaping up to be a brutal year.

Not a Mojo or Spike fan. His nasal, lispy voice and fake bits were cringe. But the station and mornings in particular just had maybe their best book ever, so someone loves 'em.
I don't know what they bill, maybe MW has that info. But if a company is 'tightening it's belt' wouldn't doing away with expensive awards shows no one cares about or watches be a good place to start, instead of air personality bloodbaths every 6 months?
But what do I know?
