I wonder if Mr. Asher is enjoying being a house-husband?

Why does Kim Adams have to call all instances of snow, “snowstorms?” She’s calling for a snowstorm on Friday (one inch predicted), and one on Sunday (2-3 inches, mostly Sat PM). Ugh

It’s kind of funny that the top weather guy at the station quit (supposedly over taking the vax to come back to the studio) and it’s been a weird cascade of personnel changes ever since.

The departures are because the others got passed over for the chief job, and saw a dead end. Nothing to do with Ben Bailey, who is an absolute idiot. That job pays 400-500K. Who gives that up over getting a fucking shot.

Didn’t his departure create the vacuum? Some of this stuff, like Gross retiring, may have been in the cards anyway. But Adams would still be hawking furniture, the other couple of new guys would still be in minor markets, and Humphrey would probably still be doing weekend mornings (maybe with a promotion after Gross retired?) if Bailey just got the shot.

When you're wringing out your suit jacket after sitting in the stands at a graduation ceremony that was elected to be held outdoors due to Detroit's "best looking weather team", thank your weather moms.

They are not exactly at the game level I'd expect. But then, Detroit's TV market has been on a slide since Cheers and Carson left the air.
