What a great question. What is this thing about football and hamburgers, about Russia winning a game?

It doesn't take much for Ron to claim that a show is "his show."

"Gary" feeding Ron an opportunity to talk more about himself.

I sent another e-mail at about 2 p.m., and I think they are avoiding it.

"I was listening to one of your old broadcasts and you were talking about driving a Good Humor Ice Cream truck when you were younger. When was that?"

'If Grover Resinger is a friend of yours, you're a friend of mine.' You might want to be a little more discerning in your choice of friends.

If the answer is not 1965, that story's got some holes.

Thanks, but I have to give credit where credit is due. That's a line delivered back in the day by Chevy Chase on SNL's Weekend Update.

A request for Mr. Positive. With Jake Woods as the scheduled guest today, could you please ask Ron if - considering Woods's historic connection to the Tigers - he gave any thought to deferring his guest's appearance until Black History Month. Since Ron had no idea when Memorial Day fell in the calendar, I'd be gobsmacked if he knew that February is Black History Month.

A bonus request. Could you please ask Ron if he intends to ask Jake once again what his greatest thrill was in baseball.

Looking forward to Ron’s interview where he ignores the interview and gives up play by play for the game
