Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron's had so many failed business ventures. Never his fault.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ron was Ernie's advisor?! Who in their right mind would take advice from Ron?!
Re: Ron Cameron
Is Al Fracassa listed in the phone directory?
Re: Ron Cameron
I like the way Ted Kulfan keeps turning the topic away from hockey. I think he looks at these calls with Ron as a chance to just shoot the breeze.
Re: Ron Cameron
Nothing would crush Ron more than a Harbaugh team winning the national championship.
Re: Ron Cameron
Yes Ron. Bob Page is the one with the attitude and acts like a know it all.
Re: Ron Cameron
Ted doesn't sound interested in helping Ron write his biography. But Ron will always keep trying because Ted's too nice to give a straightforward "No."
Re: Ron Cameron
That would be Ted's greatest thrill

Re: Ron Cameron
I give these guys credit for coming on, if they are in his regular rotation they know the questions won’t be about there area and yet they still come on and answer the phone when he calls
Re: Ron Cameron
C'mon, Luke, do one for the team & set up Ron so he can do his post-surgery show direct from the Allen Park Motor Lodge. Your boys from Specs can provide security for you. Maybe Ron could even get his maid to be a very special guest.
Re: Ron Cameron
It's kind of become "Old Pals" radio, with people like Rich Kincaide, Paul Woods, and Ted Kulfan. The conversations probably aren't much different from the conversations they have when they see each other in public.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 5:00 pm I give these guys credit for coming on, if they are in his regular rotation they know the questions won’t be about there area and yet they still come on and answer the phone when he calls
Re: Ron Cameron
That's a great idea. If they can pull off a remote broadcast from a loud and chaotic bar, they can easily pull one off from Ron's bedroom. They could solicit questions from the transient, nomadic characters who populate the sidewalk at the motel.
Re: Ron Cameron
There is some precedent for this. The columnist/TV panelist, Dorothy Kilgallen, whom Ron once referred to as a "beautiful actress," & whose 1965 death he pinned on a hit from the late JFK, had a home-based radio show with her husband:
