That's an amazing song, with very poignant lyrics and haunting musical touches.matt1 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 24, 2022 5:18 am"Feed Me" (from 1975 "Rock Of The Westies") https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXBeMlg ... John-Topic
Rock of the Westies is one of his most entertaining, and underrated, albums.

Re: The Elton John Thread
I like Elton's music a lot but I prefer Billy Joel slightly over him.
Re: The Elton John Thread
Elton is one of the greatest artists of all time. Here’s a couple of my favorite Elton songs, but keep in mind these few songs barely scratch the surface as to how much greatness this man has achieved through the last 50 years. Okay, here is at least my top 5 Elton songs #5 “Your Song” from 1970, #4 “Funeral For A Friend” / “Love Lies Bleeding” from 1973, #3 “Blue Eyes” from 1982, #2 “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” from 1976, and my # 1 all time favorite Elton song is “Empty Garden” (Hey Hey Johnny)from 1982 Elton’s tribute to John Lennon. By the way cool topic.
