Re: test
I cannot see the first pic.
Odd, but I also can't see most of the pics in the polpot meme thread.
TT, your last pic is of a Mongol radio enthusiasts ham shack, did that come from the interweb?

You're never too old to learn something stupid.

The one with the coffee mug? That's my desk back home.
I don't mean to brag, but I just put a puzzle together in 1 day and the box said 2-4 years.

Re: test
That image is no longer showing for me either. Good thing I remember what it used to look like.

Re: test
Nor me.
It's because it is not a link to an image file, which it must be.
"https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/ZgSaj ... authuser=0"
is what is between the IMG tag brackets, which looks to be something in someone's google mail or pictures account. For an image (bracketed IMG) to display properly for everyone, it must be a true image (.jpg, .png, .tiff, etc) file hosted on a public server with no authentication necessary.
Go back to using ImgBB.com (or some other picture hosting service) instead to upload the image file you wish to display and use the url of that image file on that service instead of this "new" method. It doesn't work.

Re: test
Yep. I took mine to the scrap yard in 2010 not long after the 2nd brake line completely rusted out. Michigan winters don't exactly help. We must use more salt on the roads here than in any other state in the country.
Re: test
Monroe County treats that sale like it's precious diamonds, just minutes from me, over in Toledo they throw that salt down like it's going out of style. No idea about The D or other areas. Thought the year I wash my car at least 3 times a month, especially in winter.
I knew a guy who did body work for a living, he told me the reason a lot of GM's had rust problems in the late 80s/early 90s was because they bought steel from Japan and it wasn't properly treated. Meaning when it came over on the barge, the salt water got to it. I don't know if this is 100% true but it's plausible to me.
GM had to shell out a lot of money for rust and corrosion repairs, if I recall it seems it was mostly Oldsmobile's and Pontiacs.
