The press release makes no mention of The Q 94-5 (WKLQ). Was that omission intentional? I mean, how do you just flat out forget about a 50 kW FM signal?!!!
They better not kill the Q… that’s one of the few stations I listen to when I’m out that way.

I hope that this new market manager has the authority to dump "Blunder Country" and put something better on the
50,000 watt 107.3 FM. I've suggested some format changes and GR needs a format change on the radio badly. I don't
know if he'll just rubber stamp the continued insane idea of Cumulus thinking they can beat B-93 with the modern major
label country hits or if he's a reasonable man that realizes big corporations in distant cities don't usually understand the
local markets they claim to serve such as Grand Rapids. Either way they'll never beat B-93 so now's the time to put a new
format on 107.3 FM or else sell the station and hopefully to somebody from Michigan and not a big corporation from a
distant city.

Were you listening this morning? It was pretty close to that. It sounded like 3, or more audio elements were playing simultaneously. It happened multiple times in the 8a & 9a hours. What a mess. Is ANYONE paying attention locally?

Could Cumulus swap the formats of 105.3 and 107.3?

What’s your suggestion for them to put on 107.3 besides country, Mark?

For 107.3, I would play some artists from the Texas Red Dirt Music.

Popular artists: Cody Jinks, Randall King, Randy Rogers Band, Whiskey Myers,
Cody Johnson, Turnpike Troubadours, Josh Abbott Band, Flatland Cavarly,
Casey Donahew, Jon Wolfe. Reckless Kelly, to name a few.

There are a few stations, that is all they play is Texas Red Dirt Music.

For 107.3, get rid of bro-country and boyfriend country artists.

I would play a mix of country from the 80's.90's and 00's. and what is popular today.
Toss in some Texas Red Dirt Music.
Keep it more traditional country (steel guitar, fiddles, in the music)
Not this crap music today that uses EDM, snap beats.

Bruce Law has to be a fairly old guy by now. I remember when he owned WBNZ in Frankfort for a minute. That has to be 40 or more years ago.
