Ron Cameron
Re: Ron Cameron
"Combero" had another highlight reel play on the last out of last night's game. The shortstop boots the ball, which bounces over to the second baseman, who still throws "Miggy" out.

It will be fun if Ron brings this up on Sunday.

Re: Ron Cameron
If talk show host Ron’s thin-skinned reaction to anything negative uttered here about any of his guests is any indication, just imagine how Ron as either Tigers owner or GM would react to anything negative said about one of his players. The "homers" he decries in the current broadcast booth would sound almost like Edward R. Murrow in comparison to anyone Ron would hire. He might even embargo all broadcasts pending the outcome of the game.

Ron must have been born without an epidermisMomo wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 11:21 amIf talk show host Ron’s thin-skinned reaction to anything negative uttered here about any of his guests is any indication, just imagine how Ron as either Tigers owner or GM would react to anything negative said about one of his players. Re: Ron Cameron
At long last, it's gotta be Tracewski, right?! With a cameo appearance by his best friend, Sandy "Kovacs."
I'm also curious as to whether Ron's three-hour blackout last week of any reference to his new fall schedule was a most rare, & prolonged, oversight or not. If so, we'll have our answer soon into his first hour tonight.

Re: Ron Cameron
Good morning all,
It’s Sunday, Sportstalk day! only a few more weekend Sunday’s to end your week listening to the calming sounds of Ron sizzle himself as we move into September for the fall temps and football
A few points to ponder for tonight
With the big news of Al Availa, getting fired. Has Ron had enough and finally break the glass to finally call up the son of the man and family that “idolizes” him to give his thoughts on the next GM and PR direction
What mystery guest will appear tonight?
Will Chuck from Bellville bring up the elephant in the room-The recent struggles of DCFC as of late
The letter game by Kurt continues?
Will Ron give a review of hard knocks-or is the hotel on notice if they have no HBO
Will Ron remind the audience of the new show, as he surprisingly forgot last week?

Re: Ron Cameron
Maybe Denny, if only to talk about one of his favorite topics: Miguel "Combero's" lack of hustle on the base paths, which led to the last out in Friday's game.
Re: Ron Cameron
Will Mr. Positive ask Ron to pause for a moment of silence for this week's 45th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley?radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 8:20 amGood morning all,

Re: Ron Cameron
Over/under on how many times Mr. Positive will grease Ron's ego by calling him "The Elvis of Sports Talk Radio".

Re: Ron Cameron
I believe this weekend's guest would fall under Wild Card..Jake Wood is who I heard will be on. I'm looking forward to next weekend
Re: Ron Cameron
Thanks, Alex. I would’ve guessed Jake Wood had been on more recently, but it has been since 11/21/21. On the other hand, think of all the promised guests who haven’t been on since Jake’s last appearance. Maybe Ron’s holding off the bigger name guests until the new fall season.1alexalway wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 11:37 amI believe this weekend's guest would fall under Wild Card..Jake Wood is who I heard will be on. Re: Ron Cameron
Has Vegas posted the odds on each of these entrees?
I see it as:
Trixie: 50-1
Leyland: 100-1
McLain: 7-1
Kincaide: 4-1
Woods: 25-1
Blessitt: 15-1
Avila: 15-1
Wild Card!: 12-1
All Open Line: 1-5

Re: Ron Cameron
Alex, I will post a few college football questions next week to get your takes.
