By dropping Lazlo, 86ing the 24Kgold, KidLaroi, JuiceWrld, and trimming the other excessively pop stuff, KVIL/Dallas has risen from an absolute abortion to a respectable performer in A25-54 and A18-49 (though the collapse of rival KEGL has helped too). Getting rid of his snooze show should certainly help matters in Detroit and Vegas (that station was once a pretty nice performer before Kaplan got his hands on it).

I have no beef with his on air work; I've complimented him in the past, in fact. It's other aspects of the station that suck. Localism in other dayparts is sorely lacking, and some of the music decisions remain questionable.
