Like 20 minutes after I commented in another thread that he wasn’t.

WDIV always seemed to give that guy enough room to grow only to stomp him down.

On the bright side, we’ll be reminded every five minutes Kim Adams is a mom.

And we're still stuck with Brandon at that station. That, on top of Andrew leaving, certainly drops the talent sum to well below average!!

I really liked Andrew the times I watched him. Good luck to him. He was previously at WUPW in Toledo before coming to WDIV.

Looks like ch7 will have the best weather team.
WDIV will have that grinning moron Kim Adams back, ugh, and that pissed off Brandon guy who delivers the weather as if we are disturbing him and he’s doing us a favor.
Channel 2 has those two creeps Derek Kreepvra and Allen ShlongStreet. So no thanks to them as well.
Thank goodness for weather apps on phones!

I'm pondering something.
What's the possibility WDIV knew Humphrey was planning on leaving.
So they reached out to Adams as a replacement.
Just a thought that crossed my mind.

I thought of that as a possibility. I also thought Andrew might have been upset for being passed over as Ben's eventual replacement and decided to bolt.

Not a big fan of most of Detroit’s meteorologists. Aside from Kevin Jeanes, Lori Pinson and now Ahmad Bajjey, I don’t think any of them deserve to be in a market as large as Detroit. Ironically, WDIV seems to have the worst.

Not sure about the 11PM show.

Makes me think the split isn't amicable, or perhaps the station didn't want to bring attention to the fact he is (perhaps) getting screwed over.

I would've liked to have seen Andrew return to weekday mornings, personally. Brandon's over enunciation of damn near every word is bothersome.

The press releases and news articles regarding his departure or now deeply buried at detnews.com, freep.com, and clickondetroit.com and cannot be accessed directly from their respective home pages.
They gave him a very nice send-off on the 11, complete with a Devin-voiced montage of his WDIV career. All of his desk mates had nice things to say about him, he himself had positive things to say, and he even signed off the show at the end. If the split wasn't amicable, it sure didn't show.
