Happy to report new Sports Talk with Ron Cameron podcasts are ostensibly available. I state "ostensibly" because I haven't heard them and in the spirit of the "cavalcade of incompetence" (my term) we've come to know, the podcasts are dated "July 25, 2022!"

Thanks! Just listened to the first few seconds of the first hour. The podcast doesn’t begin at the start of the hour, starting only in the middle of what was Ron’s preemptory attack, before Mr. Positive could even begin to talk. But we get Ron’s drift.

It's funny that Ron is upset by comments that were fair and honest. If he wants to criticize us for dwelling on the negative parts of his show, that's fair. But everything on this Buzzboard has been a reasonable reaction to stuff that he and his guests have put out there for the public to consume.

If Rich Kincaide was a complainant, was the reception he received here such that he told Ron he would no longer appear on his award-winning show? If so, that would explain Ron’s white-hot anger. As much trouble as Ron has in attracting guests, e.g., an unrestrained maid, the ever-expanding Guest Protection List, he can’t afford to have others interfere with the willing ones.

If it was Mr Kincaid, I am not sure what would get him so upset. I think The posts regarding his appearance was that this seemed to be a different Rich Kincaid from his past appearances.

With some of his comments that night on the show I even alluded that hey we will go through grieving differently so maybe this was his way. I guess the mystery continues to Sunday?

I guess ron does hold the same regard for people like himself that slam Matt shepherd week in and out, but I know since he has not appeared on his show he is fair game

I'd guess that Rich did the complaining. It was right after he appeared and publicly talked about personal things that we later discussed.

I also checked out his Twitter account. He seems very aware of different Internet outlets, and also has a very aggressive political attitude.

Put it all together and he seems like a likely source for Ron's outburst this past Sunday. He'll probably be on again in a couple of months, when the new hockey season starts ramping up, so maybe he'll say something.

Given the problems with the podcasts (July 25, 2022?), I've started to record Sports Talk with Ron Cameron with an MP3 device via the station's stream. As a consequence I have the entire July 24, 2022 broadcast downloaded.

Honestly who cares what Rich Kincaide or Ron Cameron think. Both are irrelevant.I bet if you went out on the street and asked 100 people who these guys are maybe 1 or 2 people would know.

I question whether a random sample of even 1000 Detroiters would result in such a recognition level.

Obviously, Ron's recognition level would be much greater if the canvassed group were a more natural Cameron constituency.
