Same here. We must have tuned in about the same time. I couldn’t figure out who Jim was either until Ron finally said it. I only heard about twenty minutes of the show, so I await the posting of the pod.

Is Ron allowing himself to dream that his new friend Jim Kaat will actually take him up on his request to be acknowledged in Kaat's HOF induction speech, even though they “don’t know each other that well”?! Might this possibility even lead Ron to go to the ceremonies, giving him his first opportunity to search in vain for the plaque for his really close friend, Howie Haak?!

Did anyone ask Ron's reaction to Mickey Redmond being nominated as a 2022 Michigan Sports HOF inductee?
I would think Ron by his vote alone to save the Catholic League Baseball teams on the 3-2 Count would go in by this decision itself.
