Also, I don’t think he is still claiming that he started sports talk radio in Detroit. I believe a caller or two and maybe a guest have mentioned Dave Diles on Ron’s show.Bobbert wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 9:38 amHis continuous work as a talk show host is another myth, along with replacing Dick Purtan at WXYZ.
Of course, I can't be too critical.I tell people that I've been in a certain line of work since 1990, even though there's been a couple of significant gaps. That's been my work identity and my main area of expertise. If Ron said he started in talk radio more than 50 years ago, it would be more honest.

This past Sunday show still not posted as podcasts yet.

Still MIA.
If you need a Ron Cameron fix, this remote show is always an entertaining experience:

Legendary! I’d love to hear Luke’s opinion of those remotes he worked on.

If I remember right, old tiger coach this weeks guest forgot his name?

Re: Ron Cameron
This week’s guest was scheduled to be the oldest "living" Tiger (who would be the oldest "dead" one?), 95-year old, Charlie “Paw Paw” Maxwell. And then, next week, Dick Tracewski, or, if Trixie’s moved again & taken yet another new exchange, Ray Scott. Charlie Maxwell was mentally sharp when he was last on with Ron, but that was a few years ago. Will Ron ask him if HE ever met Ty Cobb?
Re: Ron Cameron
When I listened to this weeks podcasts through the Audible app there were a couple instances of dead air at the end of the hours when Ron could be heard berating the producer and then also asking the producer to interact with Ron (wasn’t that previously referred to as “COMING IN ON” Ron!?!?) to lessen the time that Ron has to “just talk” due to the lack of callers?!?!? Like the old saying goes “You don’t wanna see how the sausage gets made”!
Re: Ron Cameron
He's the SPORTS TALK RADIO DEAD AIR LEGEND.

June Is Bustin' Out All Over on this week's edition of the Ron Cameron Experience:
Will Ron report on the results of the Detroit Grand Prix, which starts at 3:30 p.m. today and ends at about the time Ron goes on the air?
Have Charlie Maxwell's physicians been put on alert to help Charlie avoid the "Cameron Curse" that often befalls older people after they talk with Ron?
Will the audio behave itself, with no dropped callers or "off-air" comments by Ron?
Will our Obscure Sports Correspondent Chuck from Belleville call to talk about the Detroit City Football Club's appearance on ESPN on 6/18? https://www.oursportscentral.com/servic ... /n-5835626
Will Kurt face up to the daunting challenge of creating an All E Team of baseball players? This HOF list has only 3 obvious choices—Dennis Eckersley (RP), Buck Ewing (C), Johnny Evers (2B)—and I doubt if Kurt will pick Ewing, who played in the 1800s. https://baseballhall.org/discover-more/ ... y-position

I wonder how much time the burning the candle at both ends Ron has devoted to coming up with his all-star E team. Here's a preview of baseball players, including Tigers Damion Easley, Juan Encanarcion, Darrell Evans & Hoot Evers, whose last names start with E:Bobbert wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 9:06 am June Is Bustin' Out All Over on this week's edition of the Ron Cameron Experience:

Any chance that Ron will ask his scheduled guest if he always wanted to be the oldest living Tiger?! I sure hope our oafish protagonist has enough sense not to raise the specter of "Cameron Curse" if he has the chance to talk to him.

Re: Ron Cameron
With Ron scheduled to interview a former Tiger who I believe is 95, I don’t see this going well for Ron, I see some comments such as “is he on”
Also will Ron formulate a plan to bring his Hawaiian buddy home to the Phillies.
Will Chuck become our DCFC local affiliate
Dave from Windsor continue to move up Ron’s ranks, suggesting that this “Miguel Cabrera” person leave the tigers after this season
