After Jamie Kagol left, Ahmad should have been promoted on the spot. Instead, they played games, made Ahmad wait, and low balled him to save money. It was only a matter of time before Ahmad decided enough was enough. Leslie is a train wreck on a good day. Ron isn’t qualified as a meteorologist to take over. Becky is going to have a hard time recruiting a top notch, experienced meteorologist to come to a last placed Sinclair run station with Neille as News Director. It’s time to clean house from the mess Chad left the station in.

The problem with Neille is that she doesn't make enough to be let go, and there's nobody else willing/available to do the job. So the job security is that she's already there and not making a significant salary. Albeit ineffective, but that hasn't stopped the station from continuing in mediocrity.
