It’s the same desk but we moved it to a different part of the studio. The Eyewitness News theme was based on "Tar Sequence" from "Cool Hand Luke". WXYZ was at the time owned and operated by ABC but couldn't use the Eyewitnesses News title because Channel 2 had already beat them to it.
