Vaughn’s on-air presence and delivery are a breath of fresh air, IMO.

Haleigh is a 9.7 in talent. She has a great presence on the television. Grand Rapids is lucky to have her in your area.

Candace Monacelli is not very tall, but her voice is a bit gruff. She fills in on forecasts, weekend mornings and does some support reporting, going to stores on the premi$e that that is "news," etc.

I saw Haleigh for the first time since I'm not a morning person I don't get to see her. I thought she does a good job on 6:30PM forecast she wasn't there for 10PM show as Laura did the forecast at 10PM. I thought that Laura had the night off.

Candace is not only still there, but by all measurable metrics by far the most popular weather person in the building and top 2 or 3 in the entire market. Perfect example of what people like us want with our "talent" vs. what the "average viewer" wants. Forecasting ability? Hell I read the NWS Forecast Discussion page twice a day for the updates. They all do too. Not that hard after you learn the jargon. Buck Matthews did it, you can too.
