Looking forward to many iterations of the “Geezers at Caesar’s” line both hours today (assuming Jackie Kallen’s not a no-show in the second hour).

One knock about Friday’s show: you start off guns a-blazing about UofM and before you can finish a thought or take a few calls, we start talking Tigers. We got all season to talk about the Tigers. Spend the first segment or two (15-30 mins) talking about that topic. Let the discussion evolve.

Not to shock anyone but I don’t think Ron really follows traditional segments, Ron spends about 1 minute or so talking about a topic and just bounces from one topic to another, there have been times as mentioned that I wish he would focus one one topic for a few minutes.

But when you are a man of the people, you give the people what they want

When you combine a completely buffoonish host, interested only in his personal grievances, with callers like Kurt who'd rather talk about his all-Romance MLB team, it's easier said than done.

Dave from Warren, the king of the low-information callers, thinks that Jackie Kallen is a lady wrestler.

As always, Ron's incapable of doing an interview.

Not even Jackie's rude interruption was going to stop Ron from deploying his “Geezers at Caesar’s” line.

Ron apparently wasn't listening to his guest when she said earlier in the hour that the Hearns family was no longer in the boxing business.

Jackie asking Ron about his favorite boxing movie. Ron, who doesn't watch movies, quickly changed the subject to his possibly getting into the restaurant business with Mark Wahlberg. And then, surely never having seen any of his film work, he says that Wahlberg's a great actor.

Jackie's biggest thrill in boxing? I knew that question was coming!

Jackie says she doesn't hold grudges. Ron is not so similarly inclined.

Ron's aborting this "interesting" interview well before the end of the hour. Reminds me of an another interview that he ended even earlier in the hour after exhausting all he had to talk about.

If he wasn't such a dreadful human being, I'd feel sorry for Ron this past hour. How many times did he have to pump himself up in front of his guest, how many stories did he tell about himself?!

What an awful.show.Ron is struggling.I blame you Martin.I am going to take a page out of Mr.Positive's book.and remain positive.Martin i am going to help you help.Ron.Together we will get Ron back to number 1 in the market.Pay attention.I get you do not know anything about sports.Doesn't matter.Lets concentrate on getting big name guests regardless if they are in the world of sports.Let's start with President Biden.He is in London for a meeting with the Queen.He can be reached at buckingham palace.While you are at it let's get the Queen on as well.Now remember there is a time difference so friday's show is out.The Queen will be having dinner then so that would be rude.Hpw about you get President Biden on friday and the Queen on saturday.
