Chronic Marijuana use has been shown to decease IQ by an average of 8 points. Sure did with Al Gore. His roommate in one college said he smoked marijuana every day. He flunked out of a couple colleges because of it. No wonder it's illegal in China. It gives creedence to their beliefs that Americans are stupid and lazy. Just 8 IQ points can take you from Nobel Prize level to a run of the mill community college professor level. And an average MSU Psych student from average to dull normal.
Disagreeing with Communists is NOT an impeachable offense.

I can definitely say that there's a lot of people on this forum that could benefit from some marijuana.
They/them, non-binary and proud.

The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

Cannabis Almost as Addictive as Opioids Among Teens, Study Finds
https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamape ... erm=032921
What stands out to me is that according to the study, marijuana is more addictive than cocaine.
STUDY SUBJECTS (FIRST TIME USERS) ADDICTION RATE AFTER 1 YEAR ADDICTION RATE AFTER 3 YEARS
Cannabis (age 12-17) 10.7% 20.1%
Cannabis (18-25) 6.4% 10.9%
Opioid (12-17) 11.2% 10.6%
Opioid (18-25) 6.9% 7.3%
Cocaine (18-25) 5.6% 6.4%
Heroin (18-25) 30.9% 42.5%
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles ... tudy-findsA year after first trying cannabis, almost 10.7% of adolescents age 12 to 17 met the criteria of addiction. Those in the same age group who tried prescription opioids had a similar addiction rate of 11.2%, according to the study, published Monday in JAMA Pediatrics.
The findings contradict widely-held perceptions that cannabis isn’t particularly addictive and may attract attention amid a broad U.S. push to liberalize its use. The rates of addiction were significant, especially since teenagers’ brains are still developing, according to Nora Volkow, an author of the study and the current director of the U.S.’s National Institute on Drug Abuse.

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

I’ll bet you tobacco use (which isn’t there for some reason) is more addictive than most of those.Bryce wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 7:26 pmCannabis Almost as Addictive as Opioids Among Teens, Study Finds

This is a clown study. Opioids and cocaine are far more addictive than marijuana. Opioids are also deadly whereas marijuana related incidents are very minor and almost always traffic related(driving while high). You are exaggerating the addictive qualities of marijuana and the danger.Bryce wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 7:26 pmCannabis Almost as Addictive as Opioids Among Teens, Study Finds

I assumed Joe was high when he said he plans on running for a second term.

Honesty comes to mind...
Re: Marijuana Isn't So Harmless After All
He would immediately be a lame duck and his legislative agenda would be dead in the water. Plus If Trump runs again in 24 he would be the Democrats best hope. In other words he may very well run again. There’s no advantage to revealing that now. NONE.
Re: Marijuana Isn't So Harmless After All
He already is.

Re: Marijuana Isn't So Harmless After All
His health will be an issue in 24 and nobody in there right mind will vote for an 80 something to lead the country for four years.
Re: Marijuana Isn't So Harmless After All
Dope's for losers. End of story.
