Ali Hoaxie anchoring news

They rotated Ali at 7 in as the second noon news anchor, she usually is the traffic girl. I know she has anchored before, I remember when they were trying her out before they fired Ann Marine LaFlame.

She had a real deer in the headlight look, but I can't tell if she forgot how to anchor or it is the fillers she had injected-- now that the camera is in tight. Lots of blinking and her lips are overstuffed, with overly open eyes.

I don't think it is fear, because her voice sounds the same, a little tinny, as it does on traffic, but I am not sure.

Ali is smart, attractive, and a positive presence. She's adapted well to the studio traffic reporting in the morning. I only wish she didn't project so loudly after Kevin Jeans' wx. Her delivery can be jarring. But, that's just me.
